Abigail Johnson

Abigail Pierrepont, better known as "Abby" Johnson is an entrepreneur and investor from the United States. Since 2014, she has been the president and CEO of Fidelity Investments. This is a company engaged in asset management and pension funds. Currently, they have assets of 10.4 trillion dollars. 

This woman has a personal fortune of 16.4 billion dollars, making her one of the 10 most powerful women on the planet. In 1984, she graduated from Hobart and William Smith College with a BA in Art History. She then went on to earn an MBA at Harvard, which allowed her to rise through the corporate ranks. Undoubtedly, one of the richest women on Earth. 

Alison Rose

Here we have one of the women who have achieved popularity in recent times. In this case, we are talking about a female executive who became the first woman to head a British bank. She is the CEO of the Royal Bank of Scotland (IRBS), one of the leading British banks.

Historically, it has been mentioned that it intends to promote the fight for equality between men and women. From Spain, is the president of Banco Santander. She also heads the British subsidiary of this bank. Ana is the daughter of Spanish banker Emilio Botín and Paloma O'Shea, Marchioness of O'Shea. In 1981, she received a degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia. 

After working at JP Morgan, in 1988 she returned to Spain and started working in this institution. After some time, her father dismissed her, due to a fight. Since 2014, when her father passed away, she was chosen as president of Banco Santander. She is also one of the most powerful women of the moment, according to Forbes magazine. She is the most important woman in the Spanish-speaking financial sector. 

Jane Fraser

She managed to appear in a position completely dominated by men. Jane Fraser became the first female chief executive officer of Citigroup's U.S. bank, which is one of Wall Street's largest. Previously, she served as ahead of the global consumer division, until she was promoted to her new position. 

Born in Scotland, she spent most of her career at this company, although she also worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. She studied at Girton College, University of Cambridge, and Harvard Business School. She is also another of the most powerful women in the business world. She proved that promotions in business are possible, no matter what your gender is.  

María Laura Tramezzani

Finally, we have one of the most important women in Latin American finance. Specialized in the management and handling of private investments, she is currently co-founder of MEIT. It is a consulting firm specializing in the calculation of financial income taxes. 

She graduated with a degree in Economics from the Universidad Católica Argentina. Afterward, she completed a Senior Management Program at IAE Business School. She developed most of her career at BankBoston. She even became a former executive at JP Morgan, proving that Latinos can be instrumental in finance.

Undoubtedly, one of the most important Latinas in the business world.
