THE JOURNEY OF TEO

Once upon a time there was a small family that lived in a town in Mexico called Jalisco Guanajuato, the family was made up of Tomas and his little son Teo; Teo's mother abandoned them when he was newborn, she went to live in the US; Tomas dedicated himself to taking care of Teo; He also dedicated to sing northern music. Years later, when Teo turned 9, his father decided to emigrate to the United States. to find Teo's mother. They travelled across a trail along with other people, they walked day and night for two days without resting. When they believed that everything was going well, there was a misfortune for little Teo, they met some Americans who were very bad: they attacked the small Mexican group, the they robbed their belongings and killed Tomas, but before he died he shouted at Teo to run and not look back. Little Teo ran crying and begging God for his father to return with him. Days later, Teo arrived at the US border with the other people, He hoped his father to come, so, he sat on a sidewalk one day and one night waiting him, but he didn’t appear. The next day he met a boy named Jonah who years ago had immigrated with his parents to the United States. and they had their own house, Jonah took Teo to live with him and his parents, when Jonah arrived home with Teo, Jonah´s mother received him very affectionately, Teo told them about his trip. Finally, they decided to help find his father already either alive or dead.
