Christmas is just around the corner, and we hope you have everything ready. From gifts, decorations, to (most importantly) food. But we know that waiting until midnight, or until 25 to open presents can be boring. For this reason, from LatinAmerican Post, we give you some tips to turn on the Christmas spirit even more with these activities.

1. Play Secret Santa

With this game you not only save the stress of buying the perfect gift for your family, but it is very fun to play. You can agree in advance, no matter if it's a day earlier! The important thing is that everyone in your family wants to participate.

The dynamics are very easy, you can simply gather all that will participate and on a sheet of paper write down all the names and then cut them out. Then you can put them either in a container or in a plastic bag, or whatever you have on hand, the fact is that the names are not easily read. Pass them on so everyone chooses one! They agree on how expensive the gift will be, and it is not for others to suggest what they would like to receive.

If they don't have time to meet, it doesn't matter! There are pages where you can organize gift exchanges. You just have to make the list of participants, it is essential that everyone has an email address, add a message and send it. After sending you can make your own wish list and the person you have left will receive an email with your gift options.

2. Unwrapping gifts

This is not the typical game of who unwraps the gifts faster. In fact, it has an element that makes it even more unique and fun, mittens are used! The only thing you have to prepare is a pair of dice, mittens and gifts already wrapped, try to put a lot of tape and play with the size of the boxes. The above will allow guests to be surprised when the largest box does not contain the best gift.

When you have everything ready, make everyone sit in a circle, give the dice to a random player and whoever sits on the right will have the mittens. The game begins as soon as the player throws the dice, the idea is that in the meantime, the player with the mittens begins to unwrap the gift and his time will end until the player with the dice takes pairs, who will have the opportunity to take away the mittens and the gift to the opponent. Now who has the dice will be the player on the right side who has been able to steal the gift. The round is over when someone manages to uncover the gift.

3. Minigames

To cheer up the party a little more, you can divide your guests into two groups and create a competition full of Christmas minigames. The first is to draw a snowman on a plate (which is face down), which will be on top of your head, you can put a time limit and win the one that best draws the snowman. Do not trust! drawing over your head is harder than it seems.

The second round does not need many materials either. You can buy red plastic cups, simulating the color of the hat Santa is wearing, and small white pom poms. If you don't have one, you can try cotton balls. The idea is that you stack the "santa's hats" one on top of the other, always putting the pompom or the cotton on top of the glass, which will obviously go face down. In this case, you lose the equipment to which the tower first falls.

For the last round you can reuse the glasses from the previous round, or put some white ones on the table; The idea is that they are decorated with the face of a snowman (although it is not strictly necessary), and stack them in the shape of a pyramid. Recycle the small pompom or cotton ball, as this will serve as a ball to hit the glasses. The one who collapses the most plastic cups will win.

4. Guess who …. or what

The popular game, which has taken us out of trouble on several occasions, may also have the Christmas edition. Not only it is practical, because you only need paper and something to write with, but it is quite fun.

Distribute papers large enough so they can be written on them, and so they can stick to their foreheads. Think the weirdest thing Christmas has, from reindeer, to food, everything related to this era is worth it. If they find it very difficult try to put categories related to Christmas. You will see that the laughs will not be missing.

5. Karaoke

A classic of the meetings. It is not necessary to have a microphone or a specialized machine to be able to sing a little. From any mobile device or TV you can blast your favorite songs, whether they are infallible songs at this time, or pop songs of fashion. You can even sing your favorite carols and increase the Christmas spirit.
