The Puerto Rican singer -songwriter Bad Bunny will present a world premiere on Thursday of next week that promises to "light up the stage" of the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards, as announced this Thursday by the Hispanic channel Telemundo.

Bad Bunny thus joins the list of artists confirmed to sing at the Billboard Awards, which include Caliber 50, Chiquis, Eddy Lover, El Alfa, Eladio Carrión, Farruko, Grupo Frontera, Justin Quiles, La Factoría and Los Blue Angels, among others.

Presentations by Los Sebastianes, Manuel Turizo, Marc Anthony, Marshmello, Myke Towers, Olga Tañón, Nicki Nicole, Pepe Aguilar, Peso Pluma, Sky Rompiendo, Sofía Reyes, Tini, Ximena Sariñana, Yandel and Yng Lvcas are also planned.

The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards will be broadcast live on Telemundo from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, a city adjacent to Miami.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast simultaneously on the Hispanic entertainment cable channel Universo, the Peacock streaming service, the Telemundo application and through Telemundo Internacional for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Bad Bunny's new album

Rumors dictate that the end of November will be the official date for the release of Bad Bunny's new album. This new album comes in the middle of a Puerto Rican tax evasion scandal.

The organization Contracorriente has denounced that the singer-songwriter has entered Peru with a tourist visa and not a work visa to evade the taxes he would have to pay on his earnings in the country. This is not the first tax scandal that Latin American artists have faced this week. Once again, Shakira begins a new process with the Spanish treasury.

It is expected that Bad Bunny's new album, probably released on Thanksgiving Thursday, will help reduce this latest scandal.
